The original image was taken in Denmark in 1970 when the Stones were just starting to get into their most creative epic stretch of music. Also at the time, Keith was just getting started into his epic drug addiction. At this time he was just another dirty junkie who happened to be in the biggest band in the world at the time. Missing teeth and barely making it to the gig sometimes, he was creating what we know today as The Rock Star. Here’s my tribute to Keith and grateful that he survived those years to bring the world some of greatest rock music ever.
