Eddie Vedder 1997
In the 90’s when grunge was alive and well, Pearl Jam were one of the titans of the time. I saw them on the Lollapalooza Tour in 1992 with Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ministry, Ice Cube, Soundgarden, The Jesus and Mary Chain, Pearl Jam, Lush. Everyone on that tour was young, hungry and living the rock n’ roll dream. I remember being in the front for this show and my ears rang for what seemed like days afterwards. The time before we were smart enough to bring ear plugs. What a great show that was and hard to believe most of these bands still were making music 20+ years later.
When this was on the newsstands, Pearl Jam were riding high and was yet to feel the push back on the grunge scene and would have to figure out how they were going to keep doing what they love. Somehow they made it through while most other bands of that era just disappeared. Pearl Jam has a massive following today.
